trabalhos como Bioarte. Sua prática artística é

fortemente influenciada pelos biomas brasileiros, a

partir dos quais ele cria peças únicas.

Armarinhos Teixeira is an environmental artist who

explores the intersection between the industrial rise

of humans, environmental conservation and the first

forms of biological life, understood in his works as

Bioart. His artistic practice is strongly influenced by

Brazilian biomes, from which he creates unique

pieces.

In the conversation, Armarinhos shares his unique

approach to combining industrial elements with

environmental subjects and exploring their

Pode-se pensar que arte e ciência são incompatíveis. Na verdade, eles parecem estar nos extremos opostos de uma escala - a arte nasce da criatividade, de pensamentos abstratos e de um conjunto aparentemente aberto de regras, e a ciência é uma prática enraizada em leis de lógica, fatos e estrutura.

 

Armarinhos Teixeira cria pontes entre a arte e a ciência. Ocupando o território da Bioarte, busca a incorporação de uma compreensão do mundo vivo, ambientalmente sustentável e potencialmente regenerativo.

One might think that art and science are incompatible. In fact, they appear to be at opposite ends of the scale - art is born out of creativity, abstract thinking and a seemingly open set of rules, while science is a practice rooted in the laws of logic, facts and structure.

 

Armarinhos Teixeira creates bridges between art and science. Occupying the territory of Bio-art, he seeks to incorporate an understanding of the living world, environmentally sustainable and potentially regenerative.

O artista plástico, Armarinhos Teixeira, vive e trabalha em São Paulo. No seu trabalho, estuda a morfologia das coisas desde 1990, que estão entre a cidade, a mata e as áreas áridas. Numa via de expressão de intensidade, a construção de novos amparos, que se espalham como uma miragem contemporânea. A partir daí, cria em extensão: esculturas, instalações, desenhos e interrogativas em outras mídias. Apresentando Bioarte.

Visual artist Armarinhos Teixeira lives and works in Sao Paulo.In his work he has been studying since 1990 the morphology of things which are between the city, the forest and the arid places. In an intense way of expression, the construction of new shelters, which spread like a contemporary illusion. From there, they create in extension: sculptures, installations, drawings and interrogations in other media, creating in this way the bioart.
